Coleman™ Fuel Valve Removal Tool made out of low alloy tool steel.
Tool only for saleFits the Coleman™ 200A liquid fuel lanterns.
Made and designed from the ground up, by me in the USA in my prototype/production shop.. Primarily machined on a Warner & Swasey #4 Turret Lathe.
Directions for use:
1. Loosen and remove nut and globe cage.
2. Remove nut from generator and remove generator carefully. Do not drop pricker rod out of generator or bend needle at end.
3. Thread nut from generator back onto fuel valve assembly
4. Leave cleaning rod nut and cleaning rod for generator installed so that if tool gets sideloaded threads do not become damaged. Do not sideload tool!
CAUTION - To prevent scratching on paint or nickel finish on fount, place soft, heavy paper inbetween fount and spacer. Any heavy paper can be installed (business cards, etc) soft side facing fount to prevent scratching.
5. Place tool on fuel valve assembly
6. Do not sideload tool - lefty loosey, righty tighty!
Lighty oil tool when finished to store. Made of steel in damp environment may rust.
